I recently loaded this airplane into P3D6. Still $25.00 Looks fine and works great. The resolution on the cockpit panel is fine. I added a sound set that improves the sound. Its set up on installation way nose heavy Once you fix that the range goes up to specs.

the light on the wing tip being hardly visible is because your sim is way to bright. balance it off a bit and the textures will show up more accurately

I like it after looking at Piper cherokees all my life. I’m trying to learn ifr etc and move up to the mustang....too long flying props ...lol. I got mine for $17 Canadian compared to $44 for the JF Arrow

you can have either good simulator ... or you can have CrapR implemented. the so called "VR" so far ruined every single title.

When I start sim with t210 in p3d4.5 I see gauges but no airframe components (panel is transparent) and elevators does not work!

After sticking with FSX for a long, long time and dabbling in MSFS, I'm looking forward to finally dipping my toes into P3D v5!

Great landing Nick, it looked more like a dirt track than a runway, I'm very impressed.

My dads companies first jet was the Sabre 40 and they upgraded to the Sabre 85. I spent a bunch of hours flying in the right seat. This was NOT a single pilot aircraft. You had to have two pilots. It could be a quirky and twitchy airplane to low time Sabre pilots. At light weight it took off like a scalded cat.

this is what we did most of our stuff on in A&P school, have a real soft spot for it, shame its a miss but ive thrown away flight sim money worse. its now freeware orbixdirect

How do you set the plane cold and dark??

I think I made a mistake in buying this. I started on hard, flying out of San Jose with a Cessna to deliver cargo. Small, short hops. Every flight out of my ICAO is at least 200+ miles long, often up to 700-800 miles. I’ve gone into options and dropped distance to nothing, refreshed, and I’m still cannot find one trip that’s even dozens of miles. I’m not willing to sit in front of my PC for hours flying 200+ miles in a 172. I think I wasted my money on this, I’ve yet to find a tutorial that goes through it from the very beginning, and have no clue as to what I’m doing.

Biggest thing I hated about FSX and P3D V.4 is the frame rates and stutters. Its a sim from 2006 that struggles to run on my 2080 Super.

I'm on a rock solid v4.5 with no issues what so ever and flying a lot of longhaul, sometimes I'm in my sim for 30+hrs. I want to upgrade to v5.3, but i'm to scared of crashes, lol.

I have been considering buying Prepar3d. I have a lot of FSX flight modules. But I have a lot of issues with fsx even though my hardware is great and I can run msfs2020 in vr and dcs world just fine. So I wanted to know if it was worth upgrading to Prepar3d cause I heard all the fsx modules are mostly compatible with it and I could probably get a more stable and better framerate since fsx is so old. Seems like a worthy upgrade if I get the stability and frames that xplane 11 gives me.

I think you're right about the tail looking a weird because looking at pictures on-line the real tail looks taller and less chunky. In addition, the rear windows are much shorter than seen in those photos I mentioned. In fact, the windows in the model are the same as those in early model V-Tail Bonanzas. Not a great fan of the prop rotation simulation being so dark.

Hi! Do you think I can get 30 fps if I run P3D v5 at medium settings? I have a GTX 1650 Ti, and it's a pretty good low-end graphics card with 4GB VRAM and GDDR6 memory.

Bonjour/Hello/Hallo Nick, For all veterans of FSX Deluxe, FSX Steam, regretted FSW (Flight Sim World), I can officially attest that Lockheed Martin Prepar3D is the obvious choice for our group of virtual Pilots. Other platforms are indeed innovative and interesting, but familiarity (with Prepar3D) is so comforting. No need to dig in the manuals (again). I currently own Version 1-2-3-4 on 2 different PC's driven with SSD's. Familiarity and user friendly interface makes it so comfortable. Just like your faithful old dog/cat/or favorite couch. Well deserved "Thumbs up" on your very well presented video. CYUL

I believe that Flight simulator will be released soon and it will eat the market and the competition. There will be no more X-Plane or Prepar3d or anything else.. Mark my words 25 April 2020!

Any plans to make it compatable with FS2020?

I am not very happy yet. I was doing IFR 03 and I followed the instructions to the point where I was basically turning around I reset my yellow arrow and then I followed the flying course past the coast and out into the ocean ad-infinitum and nobody ever talked to me again. I was at the proscribed 2000 feet and had been following all of the instructions. I did this twice in ended up at the same place. Then I tried IFR 04. I reached the point to follow course and heading 130. I did this and then flew out into the ocean completely away from where I had started. Another dead end. Considering one cannot pause this simulation, yes not for reasons that you are responsible for, the instructions come extremely quickly sometimes for one who is not versed in this equipment yet. Not to mention the fact that in both missions normally my pilot instructor would have said something to me to indicate that I am not following the right track or that I have not done the right thing and in this case or in both cases nothing like that has occurred. In the first two missions, everything worked, including the instructor chastising me when I went astray. For me, this just does not really work (yet?).

I've never had my settings reset after an update, weird. Yeah both the COM radios are labeled "COM 1" even when using the GPS 100. Another bug? I've found lots and lots of little problems in this great plane. Try finding the alternatic static air. Lot's of really nice details and touches on this one though. Like if you fly with the window open it makes this swirling howling wind noise which I haven't heard before in MSFS. Flight model feels much more substantial to me than other light GA in the game.

The flag is suppose to be like that. It basically means that the American flag runs towards the battle and not away like cowards that’s why all the military uniforms and any uniform for that matter has it that way.

This thing should be cool, quirky, weird and awkward all at once. Instead it just seems to lack any characteristics at all.
